I have worked in watercolors for over thirty years, and love painting scenes of the Pacific Northwest. Since moving to Camano Island seven years ago I have worked to build my portfolio. Here you'll find the best of that effort.
I paint from life, and a variety of reference materials, when working with an unfamiliar or technical subject. Living where just opening your eyes provides great painting subjects, keeps me busy. Sometimes the paintings almost paint themselves, sometimes they come a little slower, out of a memory, an emotion, or something that spoke to me. Maybe one will say something to you. Enjoy!
